Fantastic food lovely wine and lively atmosphere. I would say exceptional customer service from the staff. Would recommend to any one who wants to try middle eastern food, you wont regret 😀

Fresh seafoods and friendly staffs. Except waiting time even we made a booking(waiting time for table and food). Octopus was really nice.

Honestly could not rate this place more highly!!! Amazing food, Cooked to perfection..Every meal we had was spot on, not to mention the deserts 😋😋 Service was spot on..So welcoming and could not have been more friendly. My family and I felt like they went above and beyond with the service..Thankyou to everyone there..We will definitely be back and recommending to all family and friends 👍

First time in Malik Restaurant Hobart and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The food variety is so wilde and ON FIRE. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Visited this lovely place on a Saturday night. We were met by the warm face of Nat, our server for the evening. We ordered the cauliflower and pumpkin kebbe for starters. The cauliflower was incredible! For mains we shared the lamb shoulder. The lamb was so succulent that you could use a spoon to eat it! For dessert the chocolate parfait was incredible. My partner had the cheesecake, but I think she was jealous of me! Highly recommend this place for a date or any occasion! Nat was amazing and made the experience a 10 out of 10!

It’s definitely not worthy to spend $75 each person and be asked by the waiter ‘Are you happy now?’ when we asked for more information about the set menu we ordered. Well, it’s not hard to be patient and friendly.

We've been going to Malik since it opened, and again enjoyed good food last night. Unfortunately, something has happened to their service standards however. The male waiter we interacted with was disconnected, brusque and unhelpful. We were made to feel as if he had no interest in looking after us. We were unable to order dessert, as he simply avoided coming to take out order at that point of the night, in spite of a very quiet restaurant at that time. We feel unable to return until this significant deterioration in service is attended to. What a shame, as I note others also commenting on this recently.

Amazing food to share with friends and a great local wine selection. Great attention to details shown even in small things like leather bound menu and the napkin cloth. Definitely would go back.

Excellent food! Nice desserts and great customer service very clean and a great atmosphere! Will 100% be going back!
