It was really terrible experience at this place. I was shocked that Master chef did not know the difference between Paneer and Cheese and prepare wrong dish than as usual standards. The owner was even not sorry for that and then have to order other Curry which was fantastically worst than previous one. The owner was focused on Charging for those curries and giving excuses about their mistakes to just runaway from their responsibility. Yeah...Its magic curry which will ruins your dinner date... Customer service can not be expected if you are keen to explore really good indian food there are really plenty of amazing restaurants in Hobart.

Had the pleasure of dining at Magic Curries during a trip to Tasmania. The place itself was nice and quaint, with an authentic feel throughout. We had the Vegetable Samosas as an entree. The filling was flavorsome and the dough was nice and soft - the best samosa dough I’ve tasted! For mains we had the beef madras and butter chicken along with and assortment of breads. Both curries were authentic and full of flavor. The Butter Chicken in particular was divine with that tender smokey chicken fresh out of the tandoor oven. The paneer filled bread was our favorite! Highly recommended if you live or plan on stopping by Hobart.

Magic Curries is absolutely amazing. The food is delicious, and the customer service is fantastic!! Preeti is really nice. She will try to make your experience at the restaurant great. She helped us make suggestions for the food. Definitely will come here again.

Great tasting chicken, lamb and beef curries, made as mild for kids and they really liked it. Nice and cosy ambiance.

I come here whenever I come to Hobart (I'm from Melbourne). I love this place. The food is fantastic and the staff are friendly. I've been here heaps of times and they've never put a foot wrong.
