Amazing atmosphere, food and excellent prompt staff and service. I have eaten at macchiato for breakfast lunch and dinner.I am a regular and come and eat regular because of the amazing food and the staff. I would like to thank Ben for his amazing service today! I will be back soon to dine again

Amazing!!! The quality of food is incredible and the staff is amazing too!! Pizza was so perfect in taste and quantity that we were all well and truely satisfied, however, we couldn't quite go past the dessert and we are so glad we decided to order it .... We were not disappointed!!! Highly recommend 😍

Every morning as I head out for my morning walk, Ben is always there, greeting me with a smile and the best coffee you’ll ever drink! They’re up earlier than me and every other cafe in the Sydney CBD. They roast their own beans and believe me, Ben knows how to make the perfect coffee, no matter how you like to have it! Can’t recommend them enough!

I can't thank the team at Macchiato enough for making my daughter's birthday so wonderful. Marilina looked after us so well and ensured every request was adhered to and met with a smile. The food was fantastic and so authentically Italian whilst the atmosphere was perfect for our celebration. We will definitely be coming back.

Great food and super friendly wait staff. I am coeliac and they accommodated me easily and recommended the pasta as that had the lowest chance of cross contamination. Highly recommend!

Review for Morning Takeaway only: Staff at the window are grumpy as hell and do not smile at all. They just dump the coffee down on the sill and just expect you to know it's yours. This is not a one off bad experience but a review after experiencing the same kind of service over a period of several weeks. The two stars is for the coffee which tastes quite good.

A little conflicted on this one. 1 ordered my pizza online, which was confusing, as it basically gave me two different times for when the order would be ready (22mins vs 9pm, about a 30min discrepancy). Because of this I did arrive later to a cold pizza, which they were happy enough to make again for me after explaining the situation. The pizza itself was quite nice. Lovely crispy and charred dough with a soft tip on the slice. As for the toppings, generally they were fine, however the chicken was a little dry, and the shaved ham felt a bit too 'processed'. However the overall composition of my pizza was well balanced, tasty and appealing to the eye. Not too little, not too much.
