Lurline House

We chose Lurline house B&B based on it's reviews and rating and boy were we glad that we did. We had a lovely stay in a charming house. Complete with 4 poster bed and all the furniture to match that time period. The house is surrounded with plenty of trees and plants and you feel like you have stepped into a different world. The breakfast which was included was served in the main dining room. Both hot and cold food was offered and was cooked fresh as required. The combination of jazz music and water features made for a soothing experience. The owners also provide seeds for the native birds which adds to the serenity of it all. P.S the cockatoos are huge compared to their Sydney relatives. All in all a fun relaxing experience.

There are only positives to write about. From the rooms, to the hospitality of the owners, to the extensive home cooked meals lovingly prepared in the morning in a wonderful room. Both owners are just lovely, only willing to help and make you feel comfortable. The place itself is so peaceful and remains blissfully untouched by modernity. Book a stay. See for yourself.

A 20 minute walk from the Katoomba Train Station. Another 15-20 minute walk to Echo Point. Very accesible to the 3 Sisters and Scenic World. Good sized bedrooms, heating facilities were good, clean toilet. Kitchen and equipment were complete though ceiling light just went out on day 2. Would recommend better breakfast provisions as these were included in the package. Over all, a nice place to stay.

Can not recommend this place more ,beautiful home and rooms with great owners. This place will more than then meet your travel needs. The breakfast was beautiful with a scrumptious homemade plum jam. You can retire to your room or sit in the open common room and mingle with the home cat and fellow travellers.

We had an amazing stay at Lurline House. Peter was lovely and was a fantastic host. The breakfast was delicious. Cozy rooms and beautiful spa bath. We loved it!

Amazing place, would recommend. Service is great, accommodation is clean, practical and just great, but what makes the place especially good is the hosts, great conversation and very helpful. I'll definitely visit again.

I absolutely loved staying at Lurline B&B. It was clean and tidy, warm and to customer service was personalised for each customer. The bed was comfortable with an electronic blanket for extra coziness. Breakfast was yum. I would definitely stay there again.

Loved our room. Found it very peaceful and the staff went above and beyond. Walking distance to 3 sisters and other beautiful destinations. And close to shops. Loved it
