Little Bird

Quite lovely place in a residential/office area. Has got a good solid selection of breakfast/ brunch options, with vegetarian choices too. Otherwise has got excellent coffee which seems to be favoured by a lot of the local workers with single origin choices. The staff are extremely friendly and service is swift.

Have had many lunches at Little Bird when I had family living opposite in Macquarie Street. Went back for lunch on Easter Sunday while visiting from the Blue Mountains. Lovely service and fabulous (overly generous servings) food. As usual I ended up taking half my lunch home - delicious leftovers.

Great chips. Does get extremely noisy inside. Don't expect to have much conversation at lunch unless you're outside. A bit on the pricy side ~17 for sandwich and chips. Also no split bills...

I usually get an Almond Latte with Hazelnut syrup from here and the occasional toasted banana bread lol. Soo good. 😍🥰

Quick friendly service. Yummy hot drinks & although cake selection is slim, they are nice.

What a pleasant surprise- great coffee and tasty chicken salad with Mediterranean spices at a late Saturday lunch / we then returned for a simple but yummy Sunday breakfast - 100% better than what was offered by a our hotel across the road. Atmosphere is convenient and the restaurant was clean, with friendly staff.

Take away coffee is fine, but a small and expensive menu coupled with slow and rude staff ruin any atmosphere dining in has. Ordered 4 drinks this morning, one didn't come out and after 10 minutes and when I politely asked about it I was basically laughed at. I then asked if it hasn't been started if it could be made in a takeaway cup. It then came over in a takeaway cup and was dumped on our table without anymore than a grunt in our direction. Won't be dining in there, and will take my regular coffee order to one of the several other places that do coffee in the immediate area. Oh and the coffee I ordered was pretty garbage anyway.

Top notch coffee and breakfast! Highly recommended.

The food is under seasoned, the staff are completely lacking in customer service and unaware of allergy handling procedures. Informed a waitress of an allergy and my food was brought out with the substance I was allergic to all over it, when asked about this with the waitress who served me, she was extremely annoyed and although the dish was altered it received an allergic reaction from the meal and could not breathe for 6 hours properly. Would not recommend given the lack of concern or care for individuals with allergies.

A bit on the pricey side but food was delicious and coffee great. I had smashed avo, medium size serving and gluten free options available. Dirty chai coffee was one of the best I have had.
