Very nice!
Great customer service. I heard the rice porridge they serve lunch time only are great but no vegetarian porridge.
Pretty good food and good prices too. Good for families.
The best Chinese by far. Always stop by before heading back to Newcastle.
The best Chinese food I've ever tasted . If your looking for traditional authentic Chinese food both dine in or take away. Then look no further. This is off the charts. Fresh & absolutely delicious.. Ample parking inside the complex & a lift is available for anyone who can't take the stairs.. located on the 2nd floor, looks & feels like a Chinese restaurant with lazy Susan's at your tables.. You won't be disappointed Guaranteed.
Had lunch there today with a large group. In regards to some other comments, we are not Chinese but the service was outstanding. Treated exactly the same as every one else there. We could get any waiter’s attention whenever we wanted. Our orders were complicated and yet they never made a mistake bringing our food which was brought out quickly. Our bill was accurate and the prices are very cheap for the amount of food you’re getting. Loved the honey prawns and the shredded beef in Peking sauce. Many thanks.
Best lobster on the Northside. Reasonable prices too. Also congee in winter and yummy Char Kway
C'mon guys stop serving shark fin soup. This is barbaric. I wanted to come to your restaurant for birthday party but shark fin soup on the menu turned me off. Will not support business making money on animal cruelty.
I came to dine here pretty late one Thursday evening. The customer service was great; however, the waitress could have smiled more. Granted... I was there pretty late. The meals looked sensational but tasted ... 'rushed' - for want of a better word. The Salt and pepper squid was too salty and the sizzling Mongolian lamb definitely sizzled- and ended there. The sauce was thick and tasted as if it barely had time to reduce and meld with the lamb and veg. The lamb itself was also chewy...cooked but chewy. The fried rice was so-so. I think my favourite dish of night was the starter- Sang Choy bow even if it was quite salty/sweet. All in all, I believe my meal experience here fell short due to timing. Had I dined an hour or so earlier, perhaps my meals would have tasted as good as they looked. Customer service was nice enough. They were attentive and obliging. I enjoy a traditional Chinese setting for a restaurant but 'Lees' could do with a makeover. The decor is dated and feels 'old'. For such a longstanding establishment I think it can afford to revamp it's image within the aged and ageing central business park area of Thornleigh. 3 stars.
Good service, nice food but a little bit salty.
