Amazing food, great serving sizes! Best chai latte I've had in a long time. Really nice atmosphere and lovely staff!

Our second visit for breakfast after the overnight ferry. Absolutely delicious food - vegan and gluten-free option. This time it was the middle eastern beans and the avocado, cherry tomatoes on sourdough with a side of bacon. Generous servings - I took away half of mine and had it for lunch. Good coffee and friendly service. The bacon is fantastic - and they sell uncooked, packaged bacon to take away.

Best bacon I’ve had in Australia! 🥓 Great gluten free bread. Food came out super quickly. Coffee was great too! Probably the closest thing to a Melbourne / Sydney brunch spot you’ll find in the area. Very popular but it’s a big space - didn’t have trouble getting a table.

Lovely Bohemian style Cafe. Good food and delicious coffee. It was bigger inside than it looked from outside.

Really love this Southern Fried chicken and Maple Waffles, it's really delicious, don't miss it. Worth to try it!

Southern Chicken, with Crispy Bacon on Waffles with a chilli maple drizzle....wow, simply stunning! So tasty, perfect balance of savoury with enough sweetness to complement the chili. One of the best breakfasts I've had. Give it a try, you will love it. 👏

Great coffee, good selection of food and excellent service. We were greeted immediately with a smile and staff went out of their way to offer alternative menu items for our 1YO baby. The staff make this place 🙌🏼

Loved the Laneway for a casual, laid-back breakfast after the Spirit overnight crossing - yep, they start early! Friendly, helpful staff, delicious sourdough (and meals generally) and excellent coffee (cappuccino). Not immediately obvious from the main streets, but well worth a tiny bit of exploring to find! Left very satisfied and headed off to adventure.

Best coffee I've had in Tassie so far. Ordered a strong large latte. Good looked good we only had a yummy muffin.

What a great hidden gem. An unassuming cafe tucked in a small lane. But enter and you’re greeted by friendly staff in a rustic decor with great service. The menu was amazing and it was a shame we could only eat so much. We ordered the farmers ‘mess’, smashed avo, basic eggs and waffles. No a single unhappy person in our table! The coffee didn’t disappoint either. All in all a great start to our Tassie trip.
