Laksa House used to be good and authentic but now the cooking altered to cater for western taste. Disappointed again with the food. The satay was fried not grilled, they famous curry laksa tasted like coconut with curry powder. So many Malaysian restaurants do better laksa now. The only OK dish we ordered were fried chicken ribs with chicken rice.
Always a great experience. The food is delicious, tasty and full of flavour. Obviously if you go here you should get the Laksa. It’s a big serving, and full of flavour. The venue is always busy, and big. You may need to wait for a seat, - the bonus is they have a 2nd shop right around the corner.
Nothing wrong with the food... it's cheap, tasty and quick. But if I had visited the mens' toilet before eating I would not have stayed. It was grubby and it absolutely stank! Sorry to be negative but the quality of the food deserves better standards in the washing areas.
Best laksa in Melbourne. Love this place so much. Great value for money, great portion sizes & always consistent.
