22 Aughtie Dr, Albert Park
Weather probably wasn't the best but overall not a bad idea. Food is mostly take away style and there are a number of sharing platters available. There are also a range of drinks are available. The burger and chips was nice and so were the fish and chips. Plus you get to look at cygnets.
Great food in a perfect location! We had a great time last Saturday.
Food was over priced, disappointing and took over half an hour to make 1 burger. Margarita was mostly sour mix. DJ's energy was fantastic, but it was still just a lady with a Spotify play list. Good area but execution leaves something to be desired. Bit half arsed overall. Check it out, but you're better off BYO
In short: good atmosphere, meh music, bad service, and awful food and drinks at premium prices. Itβs a lovely spot by the lake, but the DJ may as well have been a radio/Spotify. We got a margarita and got barely any for $15 (literally 5 sips of sour mix and tequila). We also got a scrambled egg roll with bacon ($7 +$2 extra for bacon) and a chicken burger ($12) and waited over half an hour, then werenβt texted when it was ready like they said they would. The food was the most disappointing part though: scrambled eggs with not even salt on a tiny brioche bun with a few tiny bacon bits, and some over cooked dry fried chicken on a burger drowned in spicy mayo. Overpriced food is almost expected in Melbourne, but such crummy food for that price is terrible.
Loved it. Family time. The view. The sun and wind. The food. But you must make a booking.
