Lovely staff, great food, even gluten free options. Small number of stairs to get to the toilets but such a great venue

Half restaurant empty but even like that they didn't allow us to do walk in without reservation. No worries...next time I won't even consider it....we ate next door and 30' later that restaurant was still empty....

Great service and food on a freezing cold night, had the bistecca and it was exceptional. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the Kingston area

Great Italian restaurant in Canberra. Lovely ambiance and good selection of pizza, pasta, mains, drinks and dessert. Ordered Margarita Pizza for my son and also Arancini balls (4) for entree which were very good. Mains were Veal Saltimboca which was very tasty and I really felt like a Fettucini Boscaiola which wasn't even on the menu but the chef made it for me anyway which was made to perfection. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. Can highly recommend!

First visit.... we just googled it...and hoped for the best! Booked for 2 just a few hours prior. Parked close by.... Upon entry we were greeted by a smiling friendly waitress and promptly shown to our table which was already set. Menus followed with a request whether we would enjoy sparkling or stilled water for the table. Few minutes passed, water arrived and our order was taken. 8pm slightly noisy however volume died down about 20 mins later. Calamari entree we shared seemed expensive but after the first mouthful we were more than happy with the price! Table was cleared, plates and cutlery replaced. Both dishes, the Prawn Pasta & Pizza (including the portion size) were sensational, loaded with so many flavours that made your tastebuds dance. We were further pleasantly surprised by the rather decent sized bowl of freshly grated parmesan that accompanied the meal. The attention from the 3 different waitresses was excellent and the bill delivered to the table upon request was no problem. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be returning. Thanks

Pizzas are excellent, the Bianca (Garlic pizza) is a must try. The pastas and mains that I have tried have all been delicious, the Medaglione Di Menza (Beef Tenderloins) in particular is a very good dish. The place can get pretty noisy if it is packed but otherwise the place has a good atmosphere, pricing is reasonable for the quality.

Outstanding menu, service sometimes a little lax and staff needed to be encouraged to do their job. However the food is worth waiting for and all 8 of us had a great time. Booked early for Mother's Day and were allocated an inside window table. Have come to appreciate this gem on the Kingston Foreshore. Consistently enjoyable great pasta, meat dishes and flavoursome pizzas. The affagato coffee is well worth waiting for with its top of the range icecream scoops and excellent coffee. Book early and often. Enjoy the outdoor tables if you find that multiple conversations closeby challenging.

Lovely service from the staff. However the food took far too long to reach the table (the place was booked out, however management should have rostered adequate staff) and for the price we expected more authentic food. Further the menu was far too long, reduce the menu and master a few items. If you like an American take on Italian food than this is the place for you, but its not quite Italian.

I have always tried to visit La Rustica anytime I visit Canberra. Great selection of meals to choose from and I have never been disappointed. Great location on the Kingston Foreshore on Lake Burley Griffon.

Probably the most tender veal I have eaten recently. Great service, can be noisy as with many restaurants these days.

Wow! Best pasta I have had in a long, long time. I had the fettuccine with smoked salmon. Beautiful. Bustling and friendly place to eat. Great service.

Great food but too noisy for conversation

La Rustica is in a beautiful location on the water, the staff are really friendly and the food is great. I always order the Puttanesca Pasta, it's absolutely delicious, probably the best Puttanesca I've ever had. Rich, salty and very tasty. Highly recommended!

Great food with good portion sizes!

A great place to eat. The Fritto Misto is a magnificent meal.
