Busy but very good food
Great food
Great food.
Tasty Mexican food options available. Love the decor. During peak hours they do try to accommodate as many as they can making it bit crowded. However this was pre-Covid era. Food portion size fits the pricing. Service is fast and the staff are friendly.
Perfect
Update! Finally, I could try the new menu 💪 5/5. New nachos version, beef fajitas, and the best margarita Brisbane can have! The new guacamole version was fantastic. The fresh ingredients gave it a crispy texture, and you have to try it! It had more flavor and better presentation. You will want more! I strongly recommend you to try the beef fajitas, not only because they look great much better, they tasted amazing 🤤. I have to ratify that La Quinta has the best margaritas in Brisbane, and the lychee margarita wasn’t the exception!
Met up with a few friends for dinner and the service was great, drinks and meals came very quick and were full of flavours. When the staff came to check if we were enjoying our meals, two of us had finished eating by this time - they should have checked on us earlier. The venue could do with an upgrade, the paper menus were pretty gross and could be laminated to avoid spills/stains. Otherwise, meals were priced well and were yum!
New menu, no trio of dips! No beef quesadilla! Burrito with rice! I, literally, was ordering weekly from this place weekly but no more. You guys were reliable, value and quality. We knew it wasn’t going to be Michelin star but it was solid and dependable. I think this misses the mark.
Been a regular customer for 10 years, was very disappointed to learn of the new menu, struggled to pick something off it, contemplated leaving but decided to give it a go, food was nowhere near the standard I was accustomed to, got through the main course while still waiting on the drinks we ordered. When I asked about the menu I was told they are going more authentic Mexican, what a load of rubbish, could tell that the lady wasn’t happy even to be questioned on it. She said no more American style, bad move, used to be great!! Now they give you less quality with a hefty price increase from previous. Sadly our favourite restaurant it is no longer. Hopefully they may consider going back to what works or else could end up another has been in Bulimba
I will give La Quintana a 3.3 average. The service was good and fast, and the waiter very friendly. The size of the dishes are big (perfect if you are super hungry!). I liked the fact that the majority of the sauces seem to be homemade, however, the mix of all of them makes the food too rich, vanishing the real flavour of the dish. If I went back, I would order sauces on the side.
