118 Auburn St Crn. of Verner st - upstairs 2580, Goulburn
Very lovely family owned restaurant. Food was excellent and the staff was friendly, not a single thing to fault. Can't recommend enough, will definitely go back next time I'm in Goulburn.
Fantastic little restaurant, nothing to fault in regards to the food. We returned two nights in a row to enjoy the fare on offer and we were not disappointed. The staff are lovely, particular thanks to young Chloe for looking after us! Iβd return any day, La Casa is definitely a gem.
Always such a treat. Excellent variety, quantity and quality of food and great service. Highly recommend. The tablecloths were paper as of our last visit, which means the kids can draw all over them. Very family friendly, lovely for couples or singles too looking out over the CBD. Charming atmosphere. The owner chef has published a cookbook too and you can check it out along with other Italian culinary literature near the door.
Great meal, excellent service
Friendly owners, lovely ambience, good food and extensive choice in menu.
Great food wonderful staff
I cannot praise this restaurant higher, something I thought I could ever say about a restaurant. Both husband and wife do a fabulous job, brilliant cooking of especially regional dishes combined with a genuine friendliness demonstrated through anecdotes. This is unheard of in Sydney. Recommend hare and baby goat that we had but every dish I saw arrive was brill. Cost: best value for a dollar ever, and add BYO (not mentioned on the website) and a winner. Atmosphere: comfortable trattoria style comfy, soft music background. Overall: 5 βοΈ A gem, drive from Sydney or Canberra or wherever, remember to book, just for this experience of Italian flavour and friendly atmosphere. I gladly put my name to this review.
Authentic Italian food with amazing flavours. Extensive menu and incredible desserts. It will be a regular for us when weβre in Goulburn. Waitress (Chloe) was great.
Good authentic food and offers gluten free options. Rating three stars based on what we saw when it got busy, people walked out as they were not served, our plates weren't cleaned off the table, this is only due to the very small number of staff working (e.g. 2) there - don't go if you are in a rush or during peak dinner times.
Although it's in the main street, it's a bit of an unknown gem. A warm homey room run by family. I loved my seafood hot pot. Recommend.
