660 Mountain Hwy 3153, Bayswater
This place easily has some of the best Malaysian cuisine in the area. The hainanese chicken rice is superb. The customer service however is below average and really letβs the place down. Turns it into a take away joint when it has potential for more.
One of the best place to get your fix on Malaysian cuisine. Place is not that big so would recommend to book in advance especially on weekends. The char Kuay Teow lacks a little wok hei but still tasted pretty good. The kum Heong sauce is a little spicy and packed with flavours. Guinness Chicken is a little sweet to my liking but the chicken itself is juicy and cooked nicely. Food - 9 Service - 9 Vibe - 8 Price - $$$
Great food and very friendly staff. If you haven't tried this place yet and you're around Bayswater area, you need to! Child friendly, just make sure you book in advance where possible.
Food was really good, good options for vegetarians. The car park was a bit of a hassle but there's plenty of space on the street. Overall would definitely come back
Miss Asian food, authentic one? This is the right place. Amazing place and cost. Very nice food and a lot of variety. Nice popiah too.
I have been to Malaysia a couple of times and I'm a big fan of Malaysian food. I found this restaurant's food authentic and delicious! The butter coconut prawns are incredible. Friendly staff and affordable prices too. I couldn't be happier about finding this place in my area!
The chicken was normal but the rice is up top. Rice fragrance is over the top, good job on that. But if you could improve the chicken taste will be a better combination.
Authentic delicious Malaysian/Chinese food right on the edge of the Bayswater shopping strip. Can get very busy around lunch and dinner times with the queue more often than not stretching out the door, so plan ahead. Off stree parking front and back, though it's quite narrow and can be congested when busy.
Golden crisp chicken will change your life.
A colleague recommended me to this place, so I thought why not give it a try... So we went there on Friday evening for the whole family, not too crowded, although they're still get busy past 7pm. Service is quick. We ordered Sambal Kangkung (Water Spinach), which we loved as we haven't had that for a while. The other dishes we ordered based on my colleague recommendation were the Golden Crisp Chicken and the house made Tofu & eggs on searing plate. The "golden" batter is the salted egg yolk batter with chicken and deep fried. We felt like we're back in Malaysia in one of our favourite place to go dinner. The kids also love it. The searing plate (hot plate) Tofu & Egg also a top favourite with our 2 kids. I can't seem to find the name of this dish in the menu - as I straight told the waiter I wanted that and she knew what it is. Will definitely be back there to try other dishes some other time...
