Authentic Japanese style restaurant. Small and cosy booth and bar style seating. Full of character; a tiny piece of Japan in the Perth Hills.

Very enjoyable and authentic Japanese food. Long way from the city.
Fantastic food and service. Once I walked in the door it took me right back to Japan. Highly recommended!
A beautifully decorated and gorgeous setup. It has all the hallmarks of a small town Japanese restaurant/food outlet. If you haven't been to Japan and would like to know what it maybe like. This is a place to try out for that experience. Cosy setting and seating, not big but that is all part and parcel of the experience. With the menu Umami flavors pack a punch here so if its flavor you seek this is the place. The dishes are large and well presented. A big surprise is the Vanilla and Soy ice cream. Service is friendly and cheerful. I think there are new owners because as far as I was aware it was a Japanese family that was running the small restaurant. But I could be mistaken. Abit on the pricey end and its BYO.
I could have been back in Japan. Very good food in an authentic tiny cafe. Highly recommended.
AWESOME EXPERIENCE - THANK - YOU!
Such a cute little restaurant with awesome decor. Really top notch traditional food and super awesome service. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Authentic Japanese, with the owner is working on the shop like in japan. last time she brought her baby in shop and still working! Price is higher than average japanese food shop. The only challenge is if the shop are busy then there is always waiting time and secondly if you arent living in the hills area then yes the drive to location depending on where you are in perth could be a challenge! Friendly service as well!
Fantastic little place in Kalamunda town center. Great ambiance, felt like I was back in Kyoto. I have many visits here and it has always been good. Great food. Have to say one of the best bento presentation I’ve seen and tastes great too. Currently only opens for dinner. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations. Best to get there early as seats fills up quickly and waiting time might be long if you turn up late. . It really is well worth the wait though! Weekdays are not as busy as weekend.
The place is fun and funky, the staff quick and attentive, and the food very flavourful. The owner is lovely too, real good banter and super friendly. My boyfriend and I felt like visiting a good friends house (who cooked great Japanese). Would happily recommend. ☺️
Such a great experience. Cute, quirky venue that felt like you could've been in inner city Melbourne. Lovely fresh food, friendly service and a bonus sake taster. Loved it!
