Shocking service. Wouldn't go there again. For yum cha, it is customary that Chinese tea is served almost immediately after a waiter asks the type of tea one wants. No body came to our table for over half an hour. I had to go look for a serving person to ask for tea. The same with table water . We would not go there again.

Good service and food is good from a Hong Kong style and canton yum cha. Service is good and well train, very helpful. However you have to pay high price for it and why it is 4 instead of 5 stars.

Don’t come here, absolutely worst yum cha experience you will ever have. Zero service and very expensive.

Yum Cha, now as popular as fish n chips. Sydney is blessed with very good quality offerings, and King Dynasty is a great example. Located top level Chatswood Westfield, adjacent to the cinema, this large and busy Chinese restaurant has changed hands (again), and this time, just over a year ago, has come up trumps. Food is very good, and of a high standard, but what really sets this place apart from other well run businesses, is the level of personal service. Unlike regular Yum Cha places, where the trolley ladies and staff, treat you like "strangers", the staff here, take their time to be friendly and helpful, explaining what dishes they have, and what's new. They even had a polite joke, referring to my adult offspring as "still children" for looking forward to their deserts..! I'd have to say, the best Yum Cha experience I've had for many years, and probably the best in Sydney. Go, before they get too busy...! Around $30 - $35 per head.

We tried a few times to like this restaurant. The food was okay the last time we went but the service was still horrible. I had my own family of 8 and we had sat down in the hope that all will be okay this time. IT WASN'T ! UNFORTUNATELY! IT WRECKED OUR WHOLE SATURDAY DINNER (AND EVENING!). It started with the Head Waiter bringing us to a table for 8. We were one of the first guests at 6pm. We planned it that way so that the kids could sleep early. Our orders were taken, Peking Duck, Fried Rice, Salt and Pepper Crabs, Sweet and Sour Pork, Chicken Chow Mein, etc. So there we were savouring an anticipated meal that was forthcoming. After 30 minutes, the Crab came. Then we kept nagging for the rest of the food to come. Crabs were almost consumed and then the Fried Rice came in another 15 minutes (45 minutes total from having sat down). Several of us persistently begged for the rest of the food to come already. All the waiters responded "okay". Nothing happened. Rice got cold with no food to eat it with. So, we all decided to leave and hope to find another restaurant . And that's exactly what we did. We just paid for the rice and the half consumed crab. At this point, they pleaded for us to stay as they'd " make sure the food comes". We no longer could believe them. So we left and it was 750pm at this time and we were very hungry and still had to look and hope that we could be accommodated by another restaurant in the area, being a Saturday night and we had no booking. THIS IS ONE OF OUR WORST AND EMBARRASSING RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONS THAT I HAD EVER MADE. DEFINITELY A "GO AT YOUR OWN RISK".

Avoid this place at all costs. Attended Yum Cha on Queens Birthday long weekend with a family of 4. Most of the food was cold, waiter encouraged us to order online from the table which we did but only 2 of the 6 dishes turned up, they have reduced the trolley service to encourage online ordering (I assume) but this resulted in non-existent service. I am positive we were over charged - $168 for 2 adults and 2 children - but it's impossible to decipher the menu to determine whether the charges are correct. There are far better options for Yum Cha in Sydney.

Great food, but a bit on the pricey side. Dim sum (yum cha) available, more options for yum cha for lunch than dinner. Taste-wise, superb
