Love this hidden gem. Always fresh. Always tasty. I go once a week and never had a bad or even mediocre meal. Highly recommend.

Super great value, authentic Japanese food. Good service, the cashier was really lovely. Highly recommend - I just wish they did an Aburi sushi bowl! Note: not much seating area due to mainly being takeaway.

You are not here to expect Michelin star quality... but it worth the 5 stars because you get a good value and tasty authentic Japanese food. Service could be slow at peak hours but staff are friendly. My favourite casual dinner spot.

This is the best Japanese food we have every eaten. Very good value and even includes a free drink. Perfect portion size and friendly staff. If you love great food, this is a must have for lunch.

Service was good. What i had was a bit bland, needed a sauce and wasabi, which the staff gladly served. Price was reasonable for lunch. Revisited some weeks later. The set menus were good value, and if not a big eater it’s good for 2. The food is actually quite good. I liked the Topiko, which is somewhat spicy but not, with rice cakes and egg. The sauce is yum. This time I added one more ⭐️. 👍

WAITING ....WAITING ....WAITING Thats the tale of Karakusa Spent 13mins in the shop today WAITING to order lunch. Was told three times over the course of my wait "Sorry, wont be long" but dine in & takeaway orders went in and out, one after another. Still no-one took my order. And how many times Ive called up at 7.20 or 7.30pm.at night to be told "Sorry we are closed". But hang on, your memu and door card says open till 8pm. The meals are good, just dont ever expect to get your meal in a hurry.
