309 - 315 Clayton Rd Shop 1 3168, Clayton
Way too expensive , poor dish
Awesome homely food
best Korean food in town
Been meaning to try this restaurant each time we pass Clayton and we finally made it. Even though there was quite a delay at the beginning to see the menu we could see that it was a busy evening. Being short staffed, the delay cascaded with every table seated. From the pics, we ordered the Korean fried chicken with sweet chilli sauce, and beef bone broth soup with noodles. Not pictured we ordered a mixed meats platter for the stone hot plate which was cooked on our own. The portion sizing was smaller than expected but was still delicious overall. The condiments was great. The owner or front of house lady’s English is not great but food is the important criteria here. Would definitely come back to try other dishes.
Great location right in front of the station. Beef Rib Soup tasted good, but the meat was very tough. The portion of sizzling plate dish was very small compared to any other Korean restaurants. They served 6 different condiments which I liked.
One of my favourite place that serve authentic Korean dishes. The lady owner is friendly and attentive. This is the only place in Melbourne where we can get BOSSAM. The food always taste delicious with manydifferent side dishes.
The Korean food is authentic. Although there are lots of guests, the staffs still try their best to offer the service.
Interesting place. We went there last Friday for early dinner. No frill service. The food wasn't bad and reasonable priced served with various condiments.
Best Korean Food ever in Melbourne, very kind and nice service. Highly recommend.
Best Korean restaurant in Melbourne!! They have the best Korean ban-chan! Small place with owners cooked and served from their hearts. They are like Korean mothers who treat their diners as guests coming over to their own house. Many misunderstood their generosity owing to lack of understanding of culture and people in general. They are the most generous people despite occasional lack of the full blown thick lips fake smiles owing to their slightly shy personality. They open the restaurant because they love cooking and giving.. not because they want to sell their soul or they need others to feed money into their mouth. That’s why they treat their diners as if they are their children or relatives coming over to their house for meals.. totally NO fairness but with just genuine generosity. This place is a gem
