I love this place so much, amazing friendly local service, family-owned and traditional home style Filipino cuisine. Would recommend to everyone, especially foodies!

Filipino cuisine at Rootyhill.

This store is practically an institution, with years of experience providing delicious home cooked Filipino food. A recent refurbishment has cleared away most of the groceries, and allowed for a lot more sitting space. Every time I go in, its like crossing the threshold into a beautiful tropical resort where everyone is super friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious. There is a selection of hot food, ever-changing from day to day, but some recommended staples are the roast pork belly, fried tilapia or milkfish, and the spare ribs. Can't go wrong here, and as a bonus you can even take away more food, and get your groceries while you're there.

Kamayan is one of the original, long time running Filo resto in Blacktown LGA. We love coming here but it is always busy. Their food is amazing, simple but offers great flavours. Their Lechon Kawali is still the best among the Filo resto, and the ginataang langka, menudo are quite tasty. Best of all, the price is reasonable and staff are friendly. Kamayan is still a family oriented, traditional Filo food at its best. The Halo-halo is so refreshing and again with its original flavours of ube, leche flan, mung beans, etc with Jack fruit! They also offer a variety of BBQ meats and native sweet delicacy, a divine for sweet lovers like my hubby! Definitely worth coming back, value for your money!

Appears as though they've slightly renovated and you can now have a sit-down meal. Reasonably priced authentic Filipino food, bit savoury and sweet.

This restaurant has the most amazing fresh dishes served daily. Currently open everyday 9-5 except monday, this restaurant offers Filipino style food at great cost and friendly service. I love this place everytime I visit, you'll come for the food and stay for the service.
