Amazing food! Takes me back to my childhood when grandma was around to cook. Fish molee was on point; it takes a really high skilled chef to crisp the fish just enough to cook it more with the coconut cream. It stayed crisp and delicious, no sign of soggy fish at all! If you're in need of something to intially whet your appetite, go for the homemade lemon pickle. It is tarty enough to get you salivating but not too sour that you have to squint to eat. Awesome awesome find, it's probably my favourite Indian restaurant now!

Cannot recommend Kalavara enough. Amazing food, service and consistently the best experience. Dined at their restaurant several times as well has had the pleasure of them catering for a few of our wedding functions. A big thank you to the entire team, all our guests are still commenting on how great the food was.

Had lunch from Kalavara this past Sunday with my family. This was our first visit to the restaurant. Must say that the food was really tasty and fresh. This is the best food I have had from a restaurant in Brisbane. The staff were also really professional and friendly. Will definitely come back. All the best.

The food is good ....but $8 corkage for one person is a little rich.😡😡.... have found another restaurant ....

Expensive for what you get. My curry had 10 bits of meat for $17, was pretty much just sauce. Gave an extra star for the curry being really nice in flavour.

Absolutely perfect! Ordered through uber eats, long wait was expected, but came earlier then planned, food arrived hot, and well packaged, so no leaking. Everything was spot on, no faults at all, good size portions as well, price is very affordable. Asked for a medium and it was great! Would love to see a Lassi added to the menu or some galub jamun, something sweet to end the meal, will definitely be back again, maybe next time we can dine in, thank you :)
