Kai Sun Chinese Restaurant

I had dinner at this Chinese restaurant yesterday and it was the worst experience I had among all the Chinese restaurants in Australia. First, there were a lot eggshells in the combination omelette I ordered. I only took two bites and ask them to redo one and I took it away as my lunch today. Then I found there was just very little meat and definitely no shrimp in the redo one. However, the amount of meat and shrimp in the first combination omelette with eggshell looks more reasonable. There is even no apology when it was found so many eggshells in the omelette! Second, I waited for about one and half hours for two main dishes, while the restaurant only had 5 tables seated people at that time. Last, I am a chinese from China. Honestly speaking, the taste of this Chinese restaurant is not good. Won't come again.

Cashews, burnt! Noodles, burnt! Taste of burnt garlic through the dishes, rice gluggy and burnt. Seriously how expensive are noodles. Does John Laws advertise here any more? The staff were friendly, No excuses for sad meals.

We ordered sweet corn soup, scallops and fried rice. Everting was great! The waitress was very lovely.

Food is always excellent tasting and the serving size is always great value for money. Never had a bad meal here in six years!

Decor medochre...long wait for meal even after phone ordering... Complaints from other customers... Food...bloody exceptional.. Big servings...fresh...and cheap cannot rate highly enough

The worst service I've ever had, placed phone order for takeaway an hour before pick up and still waited 30mins more when I went to pick it up, the two meals I ordered were just terrible no flavour not much sauce, pork was tough and the fried rice was appalling, was so dry and tasteless, was so disappointing as I'm a local as we know good news travels fast but bad news travels faster, I won't ever go back. THEY NEED TO LISTEN TO THE LOCALS.

Quiet Sunday covid night but waitress run off her feet with take aways and she still looked after us really well. Ordered the $39 for 2 people special... short soup, spring rolls, garlic chicken and braised pork Kai sun with fried rice. Delicious, tasty and rolled out very satisfied.... recommend!

Waitress was lovely and very helpful in helping us choose our menu. Food was average, but enjoyable.

Nice food with awesome lunch prices with big servings if I'm in town again will definitely return for lunch
