190 Park St 3205, Melbourne
Beautiful cafe, calming and relaxing ambience. I got to witness the art of Japanese cuisine. Every single corner is attractive! Great food and portion is big. Worth an experience , highly recommended!
I used to really like this cafe but today staff made us feel so unwelcome when we asked to change our order to eat-in rather than takeaway literally 1 min after we placed it when a table became available. No help with highchairs for our baby, no offer of water, wrong order brought out and worst of all when we left we realised there were at least 3 piles of dog poo under our table (we didn't have a dog) and left with poo on our shoes and in our pram wheels. The lack of kindness and compassion when juggling a baby left us feeling like we were an imposition and unwanted as customers
Love the consistency of the Japanese cafe. Chill vibes ,friendly staff and the food comes out quick. The chips are so crisp and lightly seasoned with seaweed and salt. I don't know what oil they use but it comes out smelling and tasting fresh. The Japanese katsu curry has the most crispy tonkatsu, plump rice and tasty curry sauce. Paired with the salad its perfect
The salmon salad was amazing. Every bite is well seasoned. The tofu salad with brown rice was tasty too. I did takeaway their chicken katsu curry and matcha cake. They were simply amazing. The brown rice they use is pure devine. I also really like that everyone at a same table gets to order and pay for themselves separately. Another thing that's great about KUU Café is that they use biopack for takeaway. Not 100% but the effort is great. I hate to take away one star, but people working there didn't seem happy at all.
Very cute Japanese Cafe. It is small and limited seating due to covid so wait time may be expected when it's busy. Staff were very nice and wished we enjoyed our meal - which we did =)
Like a lovely posie of flowers. 💐 This is the Japanese version of curry. I had the vegetarian (chicken is the other choice). Purple and white cabbage, broccoli, green beans, carrot and other things I was not familiar with. Served on a bed of sticky brown rice with salad leaves, sprinkling of white sesame seeds. Different, yet delicious and light on the tummy. Recommend. 👌 Crab croquettes. Entrée. Just as they should be. Nice. This is a very popular eatery amongst the Japanese locals, which should tell you how good is the food. I agree.
Very small place. The food looks nice but tastes not that amazing for me
Very delicious and well cooked dishes, friendly people, quiet n lovely place! All with a super affordable menu!

Great food and service. Fun to order using the app but traditional ordering also available.
