Good food and servce when they are less busy. Otherwise orders get forgotten. Mains wait time 30plus minutes. E.g. We had Pad Lee Mao twice. 1st time superb . Yesterday forgot the order and then rushed through. Rice noodles broken to bits. Portion very smaller then before. . Taste good. So they need to be consistent with their portion size, taste, flavour and above all service. Good luck

All the dishes were fine and came out without waiting too long. Could've had a bit more intensity to the green curry but everything else was nicely seasoned and saucy. Nice bar too. Otherwise, just as some other reviews had remarked, they forgot the satay too and it ended up coming out after all the other dishes.

After waiting 40min we got a table to seat. We order 1. Tom yum chicken soup ($19.5) 2. Chicken Thai fried rice ($19.5) 3. Whole barramundi fish fry with salad ($45) After 30min food served in our table. Firstly, They gave us Tom Yum noodles soup instead of Tom Yum soup. so we need to asked them to change it. But taste was not traditional Tom Yum soup. Secondly, They didn’t give us any soup bowls. We had to asked them for it. Which took another 3 times of requests. They said the Barramundi fish would be deep fried. But it was cold, we don’t know then when they fried it. However, it was not crispy. Moreover, they put cold salad at the top of non-crispy fish. Taste was not delicious. Thai fried rice was better than other dish. Highly disappointed. Poor customer service experience. Expensive food.

So a lot occurred during the night that definitely affected our experience but overall it was an alright night. We started off the night with a false alarm that was set off in the building and apparently this caused the gas to be shut and so wait times for food was extended but understandable. The service was pretty good here as they were able to move us inside as requested but we had to constantly ask for our table water even when they asked if we needed anything a few times. The food here was pretty good as we enjoyed the amount of flavor in the dishes but the price is definitely on the steeper end for what it is. We were unfortunately unable to try the pad Thai that night as they forgot/marked it down as already served so I can only assume another table enjoyed our dish. They did however offer to make it even with the kitchen closed/closing but by then it was pretty late due to the waiting for the gas to return.

We came here as a group of 6adult and 5kids for Mother's Day dinner and were served very quickly. All wait staff were very helpful and friendly making sure we had everything we needed and were quick to clear empty plates to make extra room on our table. The food was exceptional, there are no words to describe how delicious it truly was. I have not 1 negative thing to say about our food or experience at this restaurant. I am so excited we finally have fresh, great tasting thai food in the local area ! We will be back and highly recommend Kitchai Thai

We wanted to try out this place when we walked by during the opening weekend. It was decked out really nice. Jumped onto Google as you do to see if there was a menu and noticed the low rating. Read the feedback and personally didn't think much of it cos it was comments on how the food came late, they took long to take our order, blah blah blah. I mean they're a new business, trying to find their feet, people should be more understanding and know that comments like that can really impact businesses. Anyways so we had dinner and the food was really good. Better than your average Thai in my opinion. My daughter is a fussy eater and even had the tom yum soup! The service was great also, they provided blankets cos it was a cold night for everyone seated outside. Really attentive staff, very nice and welcoming. My husband and I would definitely come back here again! Thanks for a great experience guys!

The food here was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and flavours were perfect. The wait time was long however patience is needed during busy times especially in a new restaurant, but in my opinion the wait was worth it. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and furnished. It had a gorgeous atmosphere; elegant, modern, clean and traditional. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience authentic Thai food with a modern twist.

Looking for delicious Thai fusion in Sydney south west, take a visit to Kitchai @ ED square. Comparing to some of the local Thai restaurants, Kitchai is on another level providing good service, nice food and drinks. The interior is absolutely stunning which flows through the entire eat street with fancy bars, painted murals on the walls, exposed structures and services. The food served is well presented artistically in colour and composition, generous portions, taste fantastic and reasonably priced. The pineapple fried rice is a must try, along with the banana leaf salad with king prawn. One thing you need to be aware is the picture shows the salad in a nice banana leaf with 4 king prawns priced $20+ (this is the price of salad only) they do ask you if you want king prawns (please carefully at the menu before saying yes). We ended up saying yes and when paying for the bill the dish ended up costing $50. The drinks are very nice as well especially the lemon iced tea using a nice Thai tea. Overall, great place to eat and drink occasionally because it’s a bit classier than your average local Thai restaurant. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Avg spend PP $25-35

The husband is a decent manager but the wife has no idea what she's doing and is rude to customers. Best advice to the owners is hire a competent manager, get the wife out of the front room and implement efficient procedures for operations. 5 stars for the food but other components need improvement.
