We called the staff first, she said she cant hold the table for me. That is reasonable, and she told me that there are tables available now. After 1min, when we arrived, we see so many people queuing outside. And we asked the staffs when the table will ready. They asked us to wait outside because of covid. After sitting outside for half an hour, when I wanted to ask for how long time again, I saw a list book. All the people arrive later than me have their names on the book. And no staff told me that I have to write my name there. I questioned them about this issue. They replied 'YOU HAVEN'T ASKED.' I was like what???? putting the name should be either their job or at least inform me about it!!!

A popular Korean restaurant located in the “Korean street” of the CBD. We ordered a good variety of dishes and can say all of them were tasty and satisfying to eat! The seafood pancake was actually loaded with seafood, the stew was huge and could feed 4 people, fried chicken was soft but crispy and the chicken feet were chewy and tasty. I really appreciated that you can tailor the spice levels on all dishes. The lively and busy atmosphere also makes you feel like you’re in Asia!

Outstanding food which far exceeds the price. Lovely and warm staff. It’s our favourite restaurant in the city.

We came to this restaurant on Mothers day. Their atmosphere is very nice and their portion on the food is very generous like the army hotpot. The bad thing is that their stir-fried glass noodles (Japchae) we ordered was overly too sweet and was cooked in a lot of oil. They also didn't warn us that they would charge extra for the numbers of rice we needed as they only questioned if we needed rice or not, which is a bummer. If you want korean food for those group night-out, check it out!

Amazing food! Their pancakes were super crunchy from outside and moist from inside.And the friend chicken was very scrumptious. Service was pretty quick too. Undoubtedly, one of the best Korean joint in Melbourne.

Nice food. Came here with my friend and we really enjoying the food. The only thing the restaurant can improve is their RSA skill.. some of the customer already drunk and they should provide more water instead of serving alcohol.

Very bad service, customers have to order by handwriting, want one chicken but ordered second one by putting wrong menu number. No one confirms the order before kitchen to prepare. And not a single one cares why customer two large fried chicken for two people. Chicken is not freshly fired, vey my dry and super sweet( can’t imagine why garlic flavor even more sweet than sweet chili). Paid everything and left and chicken and expectations of customer service at restaurants.

This is one of my favourite Korean restaurants for fried chicken. Sides are great.

Jang Gun is the place to go for authentic korean food. The price is great for the quality of food and portion size too.

Way too crowded for ok food and soju. Seems popular amongst korean(obviously) but I would rather try other korean restuarants in the same alley. Pricing was standard. $50-60 for 2pp. 6/10
