Best chicken burger I've ever had! Tenders were really good too, juicy with lots of flavour. Ordered them with mild heat but I think medium would be even better. Chips nice and crispy.

Great pub food, especially the Mac & Cheese Ball Bites with a nice view to top it off )

The hotel recommended this place when I said I wanted a big chunky meal after 18 hours of travel and very little sleep. Howlin' Jay's did not disappoint. Their chicken tenders and burger and fries were on point. Loved my lemon slushie. Felt reinvigorated after stuffing my face here. The vibe was very relaxed and welcoming. We wanted to come back for the chicken and waffles on their weekend menu but alas didn't get to return. We're also told there's a secret menu you can ask for. If were ever back in Cairns I'll be coming back here for more tasty goodness.

I love their fried chicken😋 The food here reminds me of the food in US! The fresh apple juice is also very refreshing. The theme of the restaurant is vibrant and funky. I highly recommend this place.

A fun place, run well from what I could see. Beers were well priced considering the location. Can recommend the chicken and waffles, very tasty and works better than I expected. Don't get the mildest chicken spice; it's a bit bland and the medium ones were not hot so would be fine for most people.

Amazing place and amazing staff. Top place for a drink and catch up with mates. Great food.
