Very expensive CAFE, I sent my cake back as it was dried out from being left in a fridge, Coffee Mug 6:50, 7:50 on soy, cakes 7:50. No real view due to car park

Visited multiple times over a few days and it became my local hangout. Beautiful location by the beach and lovely setup with nice outdoor and indoor seating options. Great place to chill and read a book and gaze at the ocean. The music playing one morning was also nice and chill and put me in a good mood. Coffee is pretty good, although ever so slightly on the bitter side. Tried two different breakfasts on different days: the eggs Benedict was lovely! And the hash on the beach was also pretty good. Another time had the calamari with chips and tartar sauce. All the portions were generous and everything was fresh and arrived pretty quickly. Overall, a great place to visit. I would definitely come back anytime.

Imagine arriving to the most gorgeous view in Bowen, horseshoe bay. Stumbled across a little cafe. We arrived at 11:16 and the breakfast menu is already closed. Stood at the counter to order without being acknowledged for 10 minutes. After being told the breakfast menu was closed I asked to add poached eggs to my bruschetta due to dietary requirements, which the waiter happily accepted. Unfortunately we sat within an ears distance to the open kitchen where we heard the chefs and the waitresses openly ranting about us and our order. The mocking was immature and unprofessional. We thought the food would make up for the horrible customer service, but, oh how wrong we were. My partners food arrived 20 minutes before mine, she was not given cutlery and when asked for a pair was rudely given ‘the flick’. When my food finally came out I was told the chefs wouldn’t make the poached eggs which didn’t come as surprise after hearing them babel on ridiculously over some eggs. Moral of the story: don’t come here horrible service, average food and incompetent staff. What a waste of such a beautiful place. Do better.

Consider this a big warning: don't go here. I read the reviews, and such a lovely place at such an amazing location can't be that bad right? Well, if there's any way to serve a coffee at 150 degrees, this is where it's done. It's probably the worst made coffee in Queensland, and knowing that the rest isn't that good either, this says a lot. So please, to the owners: fix the way how you make your coffee. Feel the temperature of the milk, and don't boil it to death.

What a gorgeous location! Staff are friendly and there are heaps of great choices on the menu. Brekkie was yum and came quickly. Indoor and outdoor seating options with comfy lounges too. Give it a try!

Definitely DO NOT recommend this cafe, the customer service was horrible. We ordered a coffee at 10:45 and got it at 11:20, apparently it was "really busy" even though there was only 3 tables full. When we said we wanted a brownie from in the glass cabinet, one of the customer servers said that it wasn't a brownie and then went to go ask another server if it was. They said yes. So then we get the brownie...(it tasted like dry mud) and not to mention the coffee which tasted even worser than saltwater...

Just had a lovely salmon lunch with a beautiful wine overlooking Horseshoe Bay. Doesn't get much better.
