Just yum. Usually get the famous duck Benny but went with the roast pumpkin and was not disappointed! Lovely staff as well :) worth the visit and surely be back again

I have come to try every single item on the menu and have been positively impressed by everything - seriously - every.single.one of them. Do NOT leave here before you try the Mushroom Monsieur, Gnocchi with Beef Cheeks, Shiitake Mushrooms, Cheese & Bacon Toastie, Cheese & Bacon Burger and Pork Belly Burger. PRO TIP: ask Kirsten for recommended sides - thank me later 😉 Super welcoming, super chill, super unpretentious - just super all around.

As I've said many times before, for me it is always not just the product or service you purchase but also the customer service. Hoppa & Joe's has it. Add to that a very tasty, good size product, quality coffee and pleasant relaxing atmosphere and you have a winner. Definitely worth a visit.

Ok so ham and cheese toast sounds so simple but this place just makes it so well. Delicious toasted bread, fresh ham and gooey cheese, the whole package was so soothing. Service was quick and very friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

I love everything about Hoppa & Joe. Discovered during lockdown on my one hour of exercise, I quickly made this beautiful cafe a part of my day, every day! The coffee is perfection, made even more so by the delightful service. As a Northcote local, I am spoilt for choice with cafes but I will continue to go out of my way for these guys. They are the best.
