Great meal and service
Best food in Adelaide 😍
Great food as always!!
I used to be a frequent diner at Hog's Breath, but since the Holden Hill and Gouger Street restaurants closed, I had not been for many years! So my partner and I decided to come to the Glenelg restaurant for old times sake. The menu was still the same, offering their prime rib steak menu and our favourite side - the curly fries! My partner ordered the natural prime rib traditional cut (300g) and I ordered the calamari prime rib lite cut (200g); we both ordered medium rare. Both steaks were good, but not as amazing as we remember. Little bit chewy but still had good flavours and tenderness. They were very generous offering at least 6 pieces of calamari rings on my steak. The curly fries and creamy mushroom sauce were still delicious, and the boss hog mushrooms we had for entree was very good too. My partner had the caesar salad which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the house salad which had a lot of rocket, which I am not a big fan of, so unfortunately did not enjoy the salad. Service was fantastic and food came out quite quickly too!
Recently visited for the first time in my life and loved it! The food was delicious, especially the cheesy bread. Loved the decor inside the restaurant too. But the best part was the customer service, especially from the waitress with the pink/purple in her hair. So attentive and polite! Well done!
I remembered this place being amazing a couple years ago. Went a couple days ago and the food was burnt and not prepared properly. The tables were unbelievably sticky and there were kids sitting on the tables instead of the high chairs..just didn’t feel nice
It was quiet, the service was quick, the server was really good with staying on top of if we needed anything. The meals came fairly quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals. Shared an entree share platter and there was plenty on it and all was really nice. Would definitely return.
Was happy with my meal steak was cooked pretty well, but on the other hand my mother's was not. We had ordered a medium rare steak, but was given a red steak, with blood pouring out every time the knife ran through it. Paid $100 for 3 meals. The two were fine besides that one steak. We wanted to take money off of that horrible steak but were turned away.
Hog’s is a place to relax and let loose – no expectations other than great food and great service. The diverse menu is centered around Prime Rib, an unbelievably tender steak that just melts in your mouth. Each meal is made fresh to order then served straight to your table by the dedicated Hog Specialists, so you can focus on sharing good times with family and friends while enjoying your favorite dish cooked just the way you like it. Quite simply, the basic Hog’s philosophy is to have fun and enjoy yourself – a principle engendered by its unique operating style and unlikely décor that sees walls covered with unusual paraphernalia and memorabilia. It’s a place you have to personally experience to fully appreciate the reputation for being different. For travel tips and travel reviews follow me on Instagram: ticketsforthree
Ordered an 18hr slow cooked medium steak with the ribs. The ribs were sensational but the steak was not edible. Meat was not tender and lots of gristle. Staff made efforts to accommodate by a replacement but sorry if the 1st one medium was that bad I won't trust a 2nd. Friendly staff and inviting atmosphere
