Hanuman Restaurant Darwin

Absolutely loved this place! Best Indian food I have ever tried. The duck curry is now on my top dishes ever tasted. Service was great, although servers should be a bit proactive and when a table of 2 asks for 4 pappadams maybe tell them they're actually ordering 4 BASKETS of pappadams. We had to return 3 baskets as one had 6 in it. I will be back and will be referring people here for sure.

I haven't been here in years due to disappointing reviews but maybe because of that we were pleasantly impressed. Tom Yum soup was a bit disappointing but the rest was really good including the cocktail! It was really busy and I'm glad we got a table.

Great darwin restaurant, if you have your own fish or mud crab they'll cook it for $15. Such a good deal and ours was incredibly tasty. Service was great too, but I recommend booking ahead. Great selection of cocktails too.

Lovely ambience and attentive staff. Food is average and doesn't stand up to the hype. Some dishes are good but some are poorly cooked and taste awful. The place has a lovely atmosphere given the limited choice in Darwin. I wouldn't go for the food but if you want to spend the evening in a nice setting, this is an okay place to visit.

The food was incredible, having a mix of Thai and Indian food which wasn’t too spicy. Would highly recommend the beef vindaloo if you do like spicy! Staff were lovely and very attentive, the restaurant itself was very big with indoor and outdoor seating. Everything is nice. Highly recommended.

Ordered jackfruit curry - delicious! Breads - crispy and delicious. The only thing which troubled - mozzies! The far corner table had a bunch of them, and the staff couldn't really do anything about it which was a little sad. But food was really good!

Food was reasonable without been quality. Example Pad Thai noodles, not close to the Thai version. A few mistakes by our waiter, who missed some items, or did not understand what we wanted.

Delicious food along with excellent service, ate there 3 times in a 2 week period never anything less than delicious food along with excellent service.

We stayed at the hotel above and needed a takeaway meal. The food was so tasty, probably one of the best takeaway meals we have ever had. We had garlic naan, duck curry and pad Thai. So delicious, and we like spicy. Hanuman hit the spot!
