Hanuman Alice Springs

I had a very awful experience at this restaurant. I got told to sit down & the waiter will come to serve you. I waited 20 minutes for finally someone came to serve me for a drink. Then I waited another 20 minutes for another menu for me to chose what I would chose to eat.I saw & heard a waiter talking for 10 minutes. No one even bothered to serve me. I felt so alone their & feeling I didn’t mean much to them. Where is the communication gone in workplaces these days. The person said sorry our staff are new The person said to me I sometimes go to a place to just sit down & just drink. That was just a another excuse. The waiters weren’t very good in hospitality & not caring for the paying customer. The customer is always right attitude. Not in this case.There clearly didn’t really want to work. The food wasn’t very nice as well. The Service wasn’t up to 5 star standards. I won’t be going here ever again.

Food was amazing as always but I have never been packed in tighter for a feed. I had the whole Thai fish but could only eat it with one hand because there was no room for my other arm at the table. The kids couldn't move their chairs back to get out from the table as the round table behind them had the back of their chairs wedged on theirs. You can see that profit rules over comfort at this venue.

Maybe they have a nice selection of Indian cuisine dishes but what they call Thai on a menu is not Thai. Roast duck curry had a sweet butter chicken flavour with almost no vegetables, pad Thai was dry and Thai fried rice was very Chinese style and was missing Thai flavours. Packed as hell, very busy, I guess people just have limited options where to dine out in Alice :(

Best meal ever, just ask your waiter what is best to try, thanks to Kevin who steered us in ordering lovely food. The standout for us was the entree lamb cutlets. Enjoy yourselves!!

One of the best, if not THE best, restaurant in Alice. Stunning food each visit and able to cater to my dietary needs. Pictured is the Pork belly, rice and roti as well as their signature black rice creme brulee. You will not be disappointed by the food, tremendously friendly and accommodating staff or the ambience of the space. A dining experience not to forget, and is also family friendly should you take your brood along.

Fabulous food and great service. The Hangman prawns dish was divine. For dessert, try the black rice brulee

I would give this an extra half star for good friendly service. The food and value are very average in my opinion. However it is very popular (hence somewhat noisy) and being in an upmarket hotel makes it seem a bit more high quality.

Absolutely delicious food. Great atmosphere and great service.. even when the place is packed. Well done!

Incredibly popular, so must book. Staff working so hard to please. Food service was very quick and tasty meals with many vege options.
