HANABI CHARCOAL BBQ LIDCOMBE

The level of hygiene and service in this Korean restaurant was excellent! The food was delicious and portions were generous. Definitely coming back soon.

Had a bad first impression as we had made a booking for 6 people a few days prior over the phone but when we got there they had no record of our booking. We checked our calls history so we definitely called the correct number. We sat in the back bbq area which was very smoky and it looked like the ceiling fans were not working. We were squeezed onto a table that was probably meant for 4 people, max. The food was good but a bit pricey. A portion of pork belly was 3 slices of meat. I did enjoy the spicy seafood stew. The redeeming factor is that we had amazing service from a waiter called HeeSoo. He was attentive and very hard working and made the overall experience a positive one.

Great little Korean BBQ restaurant situated amongst many other Korean restaurants. Outdoor barbeque area at the back for a less smokey experience. One of the better Korean places in Sydney I’ve been to. Excellent service as well. Definitely recommended.

Very delicious Korean bbq, the marinated beef rib finger is a must get, it’s really soft and they use charcoal grill so the flavor is great. A lot of side dishes and their stews are a great pair with bbq.

Service is great. Food is perfect and definitely will have to get the cold noodles again! Thoroughly enjoyed it even though weather was cool, it will be perfect whenever is hot! Had BBQ before and it was also good. Food was fresh. Price wise it is not too expensive for Korean.

Haven't been back here for a few years. Food was fresh and good for value. Friendly staff and decent service. Did get busy after 8pm. Was sat at the back of the restaurant and was a bit windy. The octopus we got was heavily marinated, so pair with rice. Could do with more frequent grill changes, especially between meat types.

This is one of the best KBBQ I've been to. It's a great restaurant to go to with a big group as they have an outdoor covered area at the back, you get a lot of side dishes and the meat was the star.

Short walk from the station with ample space inside for small or big groups. Subtle and modest from the outside, all the activity and bustle is out the back where there are a variety of platter and met set options to choose from, as well as drinks to enjoy. Relatively reasonable prices for what you expect at KBBQ.

The staff are very nice and providing. The floors were pretty oily and slippery, so just be careful of your step when going to the back of the restaurant. We ordered this chilli chicken pot. Looked and tasted so amazing. Was so fun eating from a pot like that. We also had korean bbq on the side too. Many different meats were on the menu and it was great finding something to eat at last minute and when it was late😊

Despite the new ownership, I would still highly recommend this family friendly spot to enjoy good korean food! Service was great and food was better! 5 stars for me and my family :)
