Very tasty food, price is reasonable. But you must try the fried ice cream :)

GP is one of our fav Thai Restaurants in Blacktown but we are disappointed with the meals tonight: 1. We have ordered Thai Mango Salad, but the actual meals wasn’t mango instead of green apples without confirm to us first. 2. Mee krob which I have everytime I go there is too salty with too much garlics. 3. The Massaman Beef was a bit tough and spicy
Went to the restaurant for the first time and was looking forward to a good night. Food was good however service was below par considering how much we spent. Took 15 Mins to get our cocktails and had to ask several times. My husband witnessed an elderly gentleman cough and spit on the floor in the booth with owner sitting with th. We were still enjoying our drinks when we were asked to leave to make room for a new group which was ok so they said we could sit at the bar whilst we finished our drinks, the gentleman at the front then rushed us to pay as he couldn't take the new groups order. Shocked at the coughing and spitting especially in covid times and will.not be back.
Tonight was shocking. There worried about covid and wearing masks but gave us cups with lipstick on them which someone else was using, also we ordered sparkling water and they didn't get it till after we finished eating.
I’m not sure what’s happened to this place, either the management or staff has changed and they have dropped the ball with their customer service. We came in on a Sunday for lunch and was told a private function was on. That’s fine I have no issue with that as we were walk-ins. My issue is that this business has multiple social media channels and they could use it to communicate to other customers so they know not to bother showing up. Luckily we didn’t have to travel far. Anyway my main issue is I emailed on Wednesday to make a booking for Sunday week. I had not heard back after five days so I call to follow up and to make the booking over the phone instead. The guy on the phone tells me to call back the next day because they are too busy with a function. I explained I was calling because I didn’t get a reply to my email. The guy on the phone was basically rushing me off with no apology and said ok they’ll check their email and respond. Its been 3 days since I called and still have not received a reply. It would have taken less than 5mins to make the booking over the phone! The least he could have done was taken my number and offered to call me back. This is so disappointing as I use to really enjoy this place but now I’m really put off and I’ve booked elsewhere now. Two attempts to make a simple booking is more than enough!
Ambience was amazing and the food was great. Considering it looked like they had only one girl working the floor they did exceptionally well to get the food out at a decent time. Owner was sooo friendly. Such a vibe! Only downfall was no split bills. This made it very hard at the end of the night trying to get cash from everyone when our order came out on ONE bill which fed over 20 people. Id go back but not with a big group.
Firstly, the staff are friendly. Secondly, the food isn't bad but isn't authentic. Thirdly, the atmosphere is nice and clean. I gave 4 stars because of the waitress and the fried ice cream is very nice and made us feel better after the meal. I would have given 3 stars otherwise.

Horrible customer service, we had made a booking for a birthday party. Once we arrived at the restaurant, they had booked out the restaurant for another private event without informing us beforehand that our booking had been cancelled and turned us away at the door. A very money minded business with no focus on customer service. Spend your money elsewhere!!
They are the most unethical with little or no Customer service focus in Blacktown. It's a wonder they have survived as a business so far. They will overbook and cancel reservations where they can make the most money. In our experience , They took a booking for the whole restaurant, which came in after my booking and then didn't bother to tell us, our booking was cancelled. At the time of making my booking I was not told, there were any other bookings or the restaurant would not be available to us. When our group of people celebrating a birthday showed up at the door, we were told your booking has been cancelled, leave now. They then had the nerve to call security and usher everyone out. Avoid these money grabbers at all costs, like the plague. There are far better, reasonably priced, ethical and customer service focused restaurants in the area.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! The eftpos machine was down so the staff demanded me to go withdraw cash. He didn't even apologise for it. Our bill came up to $155.30, so I asked the person to give me $5 back instead of the coins and I will get him 30 cents from the car. The cashier refused to do this and demanded the 30 cents be paid now and then otherwise he will only give the change back on coins. After making me go out to withdraw cash I thought this was the least they could do (not like I asked him to deduct the 30 cents of my bill) Not coming back here again.
