Warning atmosphere. Friendly and professional customer service.The food is simply sublime! The Italian girl that served our table recommend us the top best selling dishes, and we were not disappointed. I have to go back to try literally everything they have on their menu. Definitely go for the mango ice cream, the pistachios one was not as intense in flavour as I thought it may be. This place a must try in Glebe!

By far the best Indian restaurant in Sydney! So great that they have lead the way in being completely vegan. Such a cosy place as well. Have been here many times and will come back many more.

One of my favorite restaurants in Sydney. I’m not vegan but the food here is just as delicious, if not more so, than other non-vegan restaurants. The palak aloo and butter chicken are the standouts here. Tandoori chicken, which is a special dish that is not always available, feels like a treasure when it can be ordered. Green Mushroom is family-owned, and the staff are always so lovely. It’s such a wonderful atmosphere and they even have a sign in their window offering a free warm meal to anyone struggling. Get here early as the kitchen is small and service can take a while, but it’s absolutely worth it to support a local restaurant that is committed to their local community!

Beautiful intimate cosy setting. Great sumptuous absolutely Delicious tasting dishes. Each one we savoured and enjoyed. Freshly cooked and aromatic and delectable. I'm vegetarian but never till today realised that vegan food can be so good. Highly recommended.

I am posting this review based on how this tasted compared to traditional indian food. The food was extremely sweet and i felt like I was eating warm desserts. Had the mixed veggie curry and potato eggplant curry with naan and pulao rice. The mixed veggie curry tasted like a very sweet n sour sauce and the rice tasted like a sweet rice pudding. This place is a let down for all the raving reviews it has. If you are after authentic indian food I would give this a pass.

Best Indian food I have ever eaten! And all vegan so anything can be ordered off the menu without worrying about animal products. I would order one of everything if I could eat it all!

Abaolutely lovely food!! I'm not vegan however I will be back to experience the rest of the menu as everything we had this visit was great!! Lovely atmosphere, really lovely staff... highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant - totally recommend random selection of anything on the menu - close your eyes are point. Nothing will disappoint.

The food was okay but I wouldn't come back. The restaurant wasn't completely full but there was two large groups and there was still empty tables. The large groups arrived well before we did end was still waiting on some mains when we left. We waited an hour for food and sat without speaking most of the time because it was so impossibly loud that people were yelling across their tables to be heard. The space amplifies sound and makes it sound like a construction site. I wanted a dessert but sped through dinner, paid immediately, and we went somewhere else for a treat. They were clearly struggling to keep up despite not being at capacity, if there was less tables there'd be less yelling too. Overall the food being fine wasn't near enough to make the experience nice. Shame.

Delicious food and very friendly staff. Not a big fan of vegan food but every dish was 10/10. Also extremely accommodating to nut allergies, head chef is such a nice fellow.
