Great Eastern Hakka Restaurant

I returned to this restaurant nearly after 4 years and the taste of the food was amazing even still. The Manchurian pizza is a must have if you enjoy spicy food. Was quite impressed with the level of hygiene maintained in the restaurant specially with following rules around masks in these COVID times. Will definitely be coming here more!

Excellent service, staff were pleasant and helpful, but that where it ends. The food was tasteless, overpriced & extremely basic. One of the most disappointing meals we've experienced.

I have been going there from the past 12yrs and never had a problem with a food and fairly priced. If people really wanna pay less they should go to fast food restaurants.

We have been here at least 20 times and never been disappointed we travel 2 hours to come and dine here had a wonderful dinner today , thanks for maintaining the quality and taste

Updated Review: This was my household go-to takeaway place during the lockdown. The food is simply delicious with less oil. The service is amazing and staff are extremely friendly. My regular orders are Sweet Corn Soup, Manchurian Pizza, Spring Rolls and Hakka noodles (all Vegetarian made without eggs on request). The food is still a bit exy for a takeaway order, hence, keeping the star rating same as the last review i.e. 4-star. Overall, give the vego dishes a try and you surely won't be disappointed!

Authentic Indo-Chinese, never disappoints. I have traveled extensively and can vouch for this place and the spirit of the person who runs this joint - he cleverly unites the flavours of two of the most vibrant cultures. Kudos!

If you are craving for amazing food cooked by amazing people with love, this is the place for you. Steve and Alex are always keen to serve you utmost patience and love. All the dishes have vegetarian options which makes it a great place for vegetarians and they happily customise dishes for your dietary requirements.

It's a great mix of Chinese (Hakka), Indian and Swedish cuisine. Absolutely fascinating.

Highly recommend the Luleå and the Zaou Shui Fish. Came her 9 years ago and just as good today
