Goulburn Charcoal Chicken

Excellent chicken, chips and hot choc and generous serving sizes. Prices are fair. Establishment is clean and staff very welcoming. With be a regular stop for a feed from now on when I'm in town. They also had a large selection of other dishes that I didn't try this time but all looked good.

Great local takeaway store which offers dine in. Excellent chicken and burgers with all your favourites. Will visit again.

Had two very nice meals here. Good size servings, good prices. Much better than the fast food place opposite! Large dining area available.

Ordered a chicken coleslaw roll. It came pre made and was served cold straight out of the fridge. I asked for hot chicken because with is a ‘charcoal chicken shop’ and the response was very blant. The owner (assuming a guy) told me a chicken roll is all cold. Weird. I then went on to ask for just a quarter chicken takeaway. I did not get any money back even though I spent $9 on a chicken roll prior. Surely a quarter chicken is not $9 with nothing on the side at all. Furthermore, My girlfriend asked for a fork and knife and the lady arrogantly responded ‘ it is just a quarter chicken, you don’t need a fork’ At the same time she was munching on some food behind the counter with and spoke with a full mouth. I hate giving negative reviews for small businesses but this one is a well deserved one. Terrible service, rude staff, don’t waste your money.

Excellent food, great coffee, so cosy, great for kids, change table. Will be back here for sure. Highly recommend for those with kids traveling by Goulburn.

Below average quality chicken and chips. The chicken seems to have been well basted, but it was ropey, both because dry and overcooked, but also because I think it was already an inferior bird without much meat on it before it was cooked. Salad is OK but overpriced.

Tasty chicken with delicious crispy fries and gravy. We were served by a super friendly lady.

Great fresh chicken, salad and veggie bakes! Mexican chicken burger is delicious. Good coffee too.
