Awesome food. Great service
Foods are good
Absolutely loved our time here. Beautiful grass fed beef was incredible. Lamb shoulder was cooked to perfection. I don’t usually leave comments but had to with this place. Phoebe and the girls were just gorgeous. Incredible customer service.
Very friendly helpful staff. Do a nice cocktail that came out really quickly. Nice quirky venue
Ambience and flavour absolutely overflowing at this place! I don't eat steak or much from 'grill' menus, but by the time we ordered half the side dish/starter menu, I'd eaten as much as if I'd had a steak. It's an expensive way to experience the menu, but worth it. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable and sweet. Meatballs and fired potatoes are a must.
Awesome food, great vibes, great service and on the wharf. I went here with a couple of friends ordering lamb rump, slow cooked lamb, beef, kingfish and anchovies. All tasted great with unique flavours and sauces. I also had an awesome waiter - Jacinta who was continuously filling our glasses with water and always attended our table. I would highly recommend here!
Wonderfully located Harbourside restaurant in the bottom of Hobart’s ugliest building (don’t worry, the views are spectacular and you can’t see the building from inside). Great decor with a warm timber and leather vide, which compliments the acres of windows and views over the Hobart port. The food was excellent and everything was a joy to eat. We had the ‘feed me’ option which meant we didn’t have to make any decisions - just eat. The white fish skewers and the meatballs were both excellent. Nice simple wine and drinks menu that supported the food. One of our party was vegetarian and they looked after him very well. Service was a little slow and we had a wait between courses. Not a significant problem and would certainly go back. Nice friendly staff and reasonably priced.
Sunday lunch into the afternoon with a good friend, relaxing waterfront view & the food... oh the flavours combined! We chose our meat & shared some plates. My venison I will return for, definitely. The scotch done right. Particularly loved the zucchini with goats curd. Frank also has a bar where you can go for coffee if that's all you want, but really...you'd be missing out. Saving a dessert for my next visit. 🙂 Our wait people were welcoming & attentive without gushing if you know what I mean. Thanks for a lovely afternoon.
Food was excellent. Definitely recommend both the Zucchini and Pumpkin dishes. They had just exquisite flavour with a good contrast of textures. And dessert - do not go past the Chocolate Fondant. Perfection on a plate! Also shout out to Phoebe - as a restaurant, you could not ask for a better maître d’. Seriously - such a welcoming and warming presence! The place was super busy the night we were there, and as others have mentioned service was a little slow. But this just meant we got to enjoy the views of the dock a little longer. All in all an excellent night out and will 100% be back next time I’m in Hobart
It was a lively atmosphere and the food was delicious. It could do better with non-shouting waitress although I think she was just being passionate. There was variety of Argentinian cuisine but I really couldn’t tell because it was standard Australian meat dishes for an untrained tongue
