Fat Fish

The fish is always super fresh and perfectly cooked. They also have a great selection of salads made fresh everyday to go with. I tend to get the Annandale special (grilled fish, chips and choice of 1 salad) and it's plenty of food for me. They're normally pretty busy but you never have to wait too long, some seating available.

The bunger is great the chips are great The staff are great I enjoyed my time here

Chips and burgers are absolutely delicious. But the place feels like it’s run by a cult. Every time I’m in, the twins (whom of which I believe are the owners) always stare and make you feel uncomfortable. When you are served by someone, prepare yourself for heaps of unsolicited amount of eye contact. Creepy. Really great food but

Always great fish, chips and burgers. Great selection of salads and take some fish cakes home for later. Staff are great. They have a system and it works.

With their abundant trays of freshly prepared salads and their ability to cook fish gently, Fat Fish Annandale have a devout lunch-time following even during a pandemic. Annandale residents are being respectful about accessing the galley-like store. Today’s special was grilled South Coast tuna ($16.50) with golden, crisp chips dusted in chicken salt, and a salad of your choosing. I opted for roasted pumpkin, baby spinach, semi dried tomatoes and creamy feta, and was not disappointed. A generous serve of fish was served lightly caramelised in butter on the grill, and still translucent in the middle - just the way I ordered it.

I've been visiting Fat fish for years! And I never get tired of it! My favourite? ANNANDALE SPECIAL! A must try if you are in the area. You can get a tasty, healthy and quality meal with chips a choice of salad a drink and fish ofcourse for under 20 bucks! LOVE IT GUYS, 5 STAR ALL DAY EVERYDAY!

Had high hopes coming from Melbourne to try this place out... unfortunately the Tuna was hard and chewy... either cooked too much or bad Tuna, on the bright side.. chips and seafood salad was good 👍

The fish and chips and the seafood box were A+. However, the salad was literally inedible. I had one with broccoli and other cooked vegetables, which were all cooked just perfectly, but the salad dressing was so strong I couldn't eat a single piece. The amount of vinegar or something in the dressing just made it absolutely disgusting. If you get this salad, avoid the dressing at all cost.
