Cleveland street Surry Hills 0, Sydney
I found vomit under my table
Amazing food and great service. Good portions too. The below servings were shared between my partner and I easily, with food left over. The photos do not do it justice. I intend to try everything on the menu. I will be back
By far the best Turkish restaurant in Sydney. And I can assure you that they have the best humus I have ever tried. Highly recommended
First time to a Turkish Restaurant and the experience was really awesome. We had Large Mixed Dips, Sucuklu Pide, Chicken Iskender Kebab with Efes Turkish Beer. All the dishes are so tasty, delicious and huge in quantity that we had over eaten. Service was also good, treating with a good smile. At last, while paying the bill at the counter encountered with a Turkish Delight dessert. We asked the guy at the counter about that dessert to taste, he served us in a plate. That was like so creamy and delicious which works like Icing on the cake on our overall experience. Must visit restaurant in Cleveland Street.
Beautiful food to start with and they do deliver. Dining in is noisy when it's busy and this place does good food so it's popular. Wooden floors and low ceilings make for a bit of a yelling match unfortunately. Pricing certainly isn't the cheapest for Turkish either, $15+ minimum for a life and $48 for a mixed grill is too much in my opinion. If you are craving good Turkish food though you can't go past Erciyes.
Simply the best pide I have eaten in Sydney. Salads, dips and everything else on the menu is fresh, delicious and made with obvious pride and care. The Turkish coffee is smooth, yet strong & the desserts are top notch.
Awesome fresh and tasty kebabs, kafta and gozleme. Great service and atmosphere. One of sydneys oldest Turkish restaurants
I found the place to be clean, the service was first class. The food was fantastic and plentiful. I look forward to my next visit.
The food never disappoints for the type of cuisine it is, and we have been going there for years. It's interior is pretty ordinary. Good for families of all ages. Great to visit for yummy Turkish pides and kebabs. If you are lucky you might catch a belly- dancing performance on some nights, mostly on weekends after 8pm I believe.
Bread, dips, cabbage rolls were amazing! The falafel were incredibly bready and dry , wouldn’t recommend. The blonde waitress was in unnecessarily rude which was unfortunate. Otherwise loved it!
