Eaglereach Bistro & Coffee Bar

Have been advised that Bistro & Coffee shop ceased operations from Sep 2019 as business is for sale.

We where one of two large groups who made a booking in advance for the bistro, our large grouped tables were literally on top of each other so much so that the middle people wouldn’t have been able to get up to use the bathroom if they wanted to. It took half an hr before we were given 3 menu’s for 12 people to all look at to decide what we wanted to drink. It took another 10 minutes or so for those drinks to come out, which all but 2 drinks were served with no ice. I ordered a coke, pretty standard I assumed. What I was served and everyone else who ordered that same was a dodgy home brand cola that tasted revolting. Wine was served in ice buckets with no ice. And when asked for just a glass of ice we where told that the other group that got here before us had used all the ice. When someone is paying $13 for a scotch and coke and being served ‘cola’ I would hope it was a top shelf scotch. $5 for a home brand cola is ridiculous mark up. The first crown larger was served in just the glass, to which the taste was off, the second one came with the bottle which read BEST BEFORE 2017. It took over an hr for mains order to be taken. To which one of our party had to leave because she had a young baby and the wait was horrendously too long for a baby to have to sit through. The rissotto was uneatable, the beef burgundy was served with steel wool intertwined in the meal, and the chicken Kiev was a frozen reheat. The prices they are charging are horrendous! The quality of the whole experience was horrible
