The food is really delicious and the waiter's service is very good. The waiting time for meals will not be too long, so I will continue to visit the restaurant. I highly recommend Hot & Sour Soup with Shredded Pork, if you like spicy soup. And I highly recommend Egg Fried Rice with Shredded Beef & Truffle Oil. Currently NSW Vouchers can be used in this restaurant. The only downside is that the toilet is really has some smell. This is why I can only give 4 stars. In addition, the restaurant staff will strictly require each customer to scan the QR Code, which is a commendable behavior.

Best dumplings in Sydney cbd. Always packed, so you d better book. The only thing it was a bit stuffy, but it might have been food that hit me). Pork and prawn dumplings are great, the beef spinach soup is just amazing, the beef is tender and juicy, the broth is rich and full of flavour, plus it’s low calorie )) as no noodles in this one. Quick excellent service! The location is great too, just next to ATO building 😉

I’m going 5/5.. sure, it wasn’t perfect but I’ve been to Din Tai Fung in 5 countries including the original in Taipei and with the exception of Hong Kong they’ve all been pretty much bang on as good as the original. I think people give Din Tai Fung a lot of criticism just because it’s became such a big chain, and I also suspect Shanghainese people often bring it down because Xiao Long Bao is originally a Shanghai dish (so I’m told). But whenever I visit any city that has a Din Tai Fung I always go, and always love it.

Delicious dumplings, tried the popular xiao long bao but felt like it was not as fresh, had the shrimp and pork Shao Mai and was juicy hot and fresh. Also recommend the shrimp and pork wontons with noodles in spicy sauce which was mouth watering. The fried rice in the dishes are yummy and well done. For the drink get a lychee mint freeze.. was soo good we had to get another for takeaway, perfect for a hot day.

Good foods. But, my favourite seaweed salad has been removed from menus. Sad!

I don't like giving bad reviews, but I have to say it isn't as good as I remembered it to be. The menu was missing alot of the original dishes it used to have. I'm giving it two stars because the soup dumplings 小笼包 were still acceptable (although I remember them being better) and I enjoyed the golden lava mochi balls 金沙麻薯球. The hot and sour soup 酸辣汤 definitely needs improvement and we could still taste a bit of the starchy water in the chicken & mushroom dumpling dry noodles. Table service also felt a bit lacking as our empty plates and bowls started piling without anyone coming to collect them. I'm sad to say it was a disappointing experience overall and I hope to see it improve in the future.
