A great range of memorabilia. A bit mixed up and all over the place but fine if you don't care what weapons were used in what Wars. Definitely a good place to go and see about the bombing of Darwin.

The Darwin military museum is an incredibly interesting place to visit. There is tonnes of amazing history lining the walls and so much information to take in. The staff were also friendly and helpful. To me the only downfall was the entry fee. Definitely a place worth visiting whilst in Darwin.

An absolute MUST visit whilst in Darwin. Very detailed account of the events of 19th of February 1942 when the Japanese bombed Darwin and surrounds during WW2. There is a short 12 minute film covering this tragic event along with many detailed accounts from heroes and survivors with many artifacts, machinery, vehicles & weaponry on display. Also has a small section relating to the Vietnam war, but primarily is focused on the events of 19th February 1942. To get the most out of your day here, I suggest allowing a minimum of 3 hours, or longer, if you have the time. Very cheap entry fee & a small cafe and gift shop is also on site. Very worthwhile experience and is a must visit for everyone.

Not a bad place to visit whilst in Darwin but one of the staff was hopeless and the video presentation was very very ordinary. The out door e exhibits where very well presented.

Have look how the War Memorial in Canberra is set. Interactive and not just rusting war memorabilia.
