Interesting “fusion” Korean with a Chinese twist. Korean version of “Ja Jain Mein”, the fried chicken needs to be a bit crispier but still very flavourful. Prices reasonable.

DAOL MODERN, Mount Waverley. Reunited with one of the best JaJang Myeon and our Korean friends at @daolmodern in Melbourne’s East! We order the same thing every time but you can’t go wrong!! The lunch menu is very very affordable and great value!! Our top picks are the black bean noodles and fried chicken! We ordered them in the $48 set which came with 2 noodles of your choice and the spicy boneless fried chicken - crispy & full of flavour 🤤 SA GOOD!!! 🍗 The Spicy seafood noodles Jjambbong (which were not spicy enough for me) had a lot of seafood and the JaJang noods is a must!! (Just $11.90 on its own!)- I highly recommend this place 🙌🏻💯🇰🇷 Authentic & Delish.

Tasty korean food and friendly staff. what else do we need??

Dropped in for a quick bite. The menu has pictures now which really helps, much better than just descriptions. Service was quick, food was good and tasty. Floor felt pretty oily though . Had the dish below, the 2 of us could not finish it. I have previously tried the Ja-Jang-Myeon which is the noodles in black bean sauce, totally recommend it.
