2 Stewart St, Daintree
Good food and atmosphere friendly staff
Been to the village many times great atmosphere very neat and tidy. Take away food ordinary. Pub is better. Could be so much better.
A very cute spot with little there. Cafe and souvenirs right next to the river. You can book a river cruise there.
Cute little village with a free 'museum' of historical 'junk' worth checking out.
Park owners should not allow big aggressive dogs, as there were 2 on our first night. Otherwise lovely sites ammenities are tired but ok. 1 minute walk onto cruises.
Gr8 little museum, of things gone by
Small country town. Local pub makes a good parma with a good choice of beer on tap and in the fridge.
Over the years, Daintree village has become my "happy place". It isn't a travel destination in itself, however it has a lovely frontier feel about it and a great place to stop off on a trip into the national park. Lots of crocs in the river and a selection of places to eat ranging from little cafes to the pub. Lovely to get some lunch and then go on a croc spotting trip.
Relaxing spot. Not much there. Pub, cafe, motel, van park. Excellent crocodile tours available.
Fantastic little place to walk around
