Always great service, the food is always delicious and they have a great range of options suitable for everyone. I'm a sucker for the deluxe breakfast roll and chocolate milkshake but they do the milkshakes old school with malt so they're impossible to resist! Well priced, great atmosphere and comfortable seating. I'd suggest booking ahead if you want to dine in because it's often busy!

Awesome quirky Cafe. Its all old school. Friendly funny staff, no chair is the same , its yesteryear on crack 😄 Such lovely people . Weird art, lots of books , a back room for those who need a quiet space . $20 for their deluxe steak burger , and the biggest sweetest marble chocolate coffee they had . There is nothing standard about this place . Its definitely one of the nicest, most original cafes I've been too.

What a cafe! Hands down best chai latte I've ever had. Food was great. All the while playing Tom Petty and Fleetwood over the speakers. Exactly what a cafe should be. Quirky artwork and furniture. Don't miss this little hidden gem.

I feel as though DS is my local, but it isn't. I live in Hobart but have been coming to DS in Huonville even when I lived on the Big Island. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. The locals know that the coffee and homemade fare make it the place to go. I have, on many occasions, sat at the window and enjoyed a coffee and some simple food. I am often down in the Huon Valley trail running and there is nothing nicer than to finish a run and look forward to a quiet breakfast at DS. Well worth a visit.
