Curry Vault Indian Restaurant and Bar Melbourne

Excellent!!!

Have been here first time and was not disappointed :) super attentive staff and the owner/manager made awesome recommendations. Majority of us were vegetarian , they also had some extra dishes out of menu. Paneer was like party in mouth , perfect spice , great texture!!! Sometimes I regret being vegetarian, and looking at that heavenly smelled chicken lollipop I felt the same . The Ambience was peaceful and warm with 5-star staff service. And cherry on top was the cocktails we had , AMAZING just AMAZING . Really impressed by the whole experience. Kudos to the team ;) keep it up.

Beautiful restaurant right in the heart of the city, good access via public transport or if you're driving in. Can't speak highly enough of the food at Curry Vault. We've never left unsatisfied and have basically become regulars! Excellent cuisine paired with even better service. Highly recommended.

I can't understand why this restaurant isn't 5 star... absolutely beautiful food, really friendly inviting staff too. If this was our home town we would have found our new favourite venue.

Hidden in the quaint basement setting. The ambience of the place can pick up a little but don't let that fool you. Tandoori fish on a sizzling hot plate was a delight. Goat curry and Paneer makhni were absolutely on point. Goat curry with a finger lickin sauce and Panner makhni that just melted in your mouth. The breads were so fresh. I have had naan breads a lot, but this was fresh and soft. Yes it's slightly pricey, but can you put a price on good food. May be I just got CURRIED away!

This is the best food I've eaten in a South Asian restaurant, for its freshness of ingredients , flavoursome taste and value for money. I've been to many Indian, Bengali etc restaurants around the world both very fancy and backstreet " but this place blew me away. Beautiful honest genuine delicious food. And the service was lovely too 😁

First of all great service. Mr.Kailash is a wonderful person. really yummy , delicious food. my all guests were so happy with the service and food. We will surely coming back again. Thanks so much Curry vault team. There was one girl serving us she did a great job without any issues. Also great ambience. we just loved it.

Probably one of the worse curries I have had in a long time. Ordered lamb vindaloo and butter chicken and naans. In the vindaloo there was about a centimetre of oil on top of the whole container, the butter chicken was too sweet and the chicken tasted like it was cooked weeks ago. Then the naan was underdone and was grey in colour. Would not order again.
