Just had a long black (which was great). Awesome venue & staff are great. Had a good chat to them about one of their cookbooks I have & got some great recommendations to cook up this week.
Great coffee!! Perfect location for a breakfast and play in the park if you have children. Indoor and outdoor sitting available. Gets very busy on the weekend
I have your cookbooks, I love them. I was in Sydney today from Melbourne and had time this morning to drop in for breakfast. Food was excellent, location lovely, however service matters. Smiles from behind the counter but waitress appeared to wish she was somewhere else, not good.
First time here yesterday. Delicious food all round. Creative, tasty and filling vegetarian menu. Pic of my cheese n pickles on bread with a side of pumpkin, buttermilk n hazelnuts. Super parent with kid-friendly, including several kid food options. Small park across the road is well designed for toddlers.
Nice cafe in Annandale! It’s not on Booth street so can be easier to get to depending which way you’re coming from. Still super busy and popular though. They’ve got great food that you can eat in but also have takeaway options and some goods like cakes, bread and chutneys that you can buy. Recommend for both takeaway coffee and for eating in.
Lovely environment with great food. Thoroughly enjoyed my morning working with tea and cake ☺️
One of the best cafes in Sydney. Lots of tasty and healthy flavours
As Always, fabulous. I love the whole concept! Locally sourced & in season. Off cuts not wasted. So much of what's used & served is made by them, or locally. The tapioca breakfast bowl was a delightful mix of flavours! Simple, but so delicious! Portions are not huge. The only thing, it is expensive! $13 for a smallish bowl of tapioca with coconut cream, 2 or 3 pieces of caramelized pineapple, 2 or 3 SMALL pieces of mango, 6 little leaves of mint, some toasted coconut & a drizzle of pineapple syrup (which I love the idea of & it was delicious! It really finished the dish! But come on guys, it's made from pineapple skins! 😀) 5 stars for concept, 5 stars for flavours & goodfood quality. 2 stars for value for money. Actually, that whole bowl, with a little planning, just about anyone could make at home. But the idea is great!
This place was worth the walk from Newtown! Totally unexpected seasonal menu and my plate was amazing with peaches, leek and feta in delicious bread. Friendly service and perfect coffee. Nice to see that they offer a picnic menu for families to grab and then head to the park across the road
