Coopers Alehouse Gepps Cross

I do realise it my visit to the Cooper's Alehouse was only a Tuesday and that may be the very reason it was a little quiet and in need of some atmosphere. Other than that, it looked as though a lot of money was spent on making the bar, the seating and dining area very comfortable. The outside bar, the tables and chairs was a great place to catch up with friends. I would love to get a crew together and visit again on any other night. I feel this hotel has a lot more on offer other than what I had seen on the evening of my short visit. Looking forward to my next visit. Cheers

This is one of the pricier places in town, but everything, and I mean everything, has been worth every penny and more. The steak, pizza, beer - you name it. Everything was great.

My wife and I went to the Alehouse for lunch today, she had a rib eye which was quite nice and I opted for the yoder smoker plate. Unfortunately the pork ribs and beef ribs were well undercooked and extremely tough, I like pork ribs to pull easily from the bone, I could barely cut the meat from these using a steak knife. The fat in the beef ribs had not been rendered down enough and these were also extremely tough, the kransky and pulled pork were good but lacked the smoke flavour I was expecting.

Very modern, large and laid-back. Great place to catch up with friends for a meal or drink. The menu included everything you'd expect in a pub. Food was good and very chilled atmosphere. The chicken schnitzel came with a very generous serve of fries and salad which was great!

Good vibes and service, food could use some improvements, but then again I only had one dish out of the whole menu! Update: I have reached out to the venue to let them know my original review was perhaps a bit unspecific and have let them know my concerns with the specific dish I had.

I booked the Bill Cooper Room for my 50th Birthday Party and cannot fault the way the staff of the Coopers Alehouse helped and supported me in putting together my event. From the Function Coordinators to the Bar Staff on the night, everybody went above and beyond to make sure that the party ran smoothly and was as stress free as possible for me. We had a great night and I would highly recommend the facility to anybody looking to host a function.

Good food friendly staff

Reasonable pricing, nice meals, polite staff. My reason for the 4 start review is red red onion in a kids salad ended in disaster! 🤦🏽‍♀️
