Is Coogee Pavillion OK for kids (6 & 9) on NYE - say around 6.00pm. Do we need to book?

Are pets allowed anywhere, e.g. on the terrace?

What is in the happy hour ? What time is it?

Is there any wifi over there to get some work done while having a coffee ?

Booked in advance did not have our table available, food was late, asked the front host if we could do split bill and he was very rude and sassy in his response. Told us to download an app called 'beam it' and split it ourselves because its apparently too hard for the staff to click a button on their machine. Incompetency is not a good look for this establishment. Only good thing about the whole experience was our waiter who was very friendly!

Great place for a Sunday afternoon with friends. There's different sections of the pavilion with slightly different menus (rooftop area is more of a cocktail lounge, whereas the ground floor is a pub/pizza area). There is also an outdoor area out front that is dog friendly with covered tables. Usually quite busy, go early to get a preferred spot. Reasonably priced, great for pizzas and snacks.

Great atmosphere and the food was pretty good! The snapper ceviche was tasty and refreshing, the mussels were slightly too salty and garlicky in my opinion, but still tasted good, and the beer-battered fish was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The potatoes were also very tasty with the chili aioli.

Very family friendly restaurant, especially during the day for lunch. Lots of fun engaging activities to get your kids off their device and interacting with each other before the food arrives. Ping pong, giant Scrabble wall, Lego table, and screen room for short movies. It’s loud here so not the best place for long conversation. But a fun vibe and family friendly with great pizza.

A very noisy venue. Food is not bad. Service was ok. But what I don't like is that their serving plates are rusty. Why would anyone using rusty plates to serve their customers? It's a health hazard. Buy some new ceramic or plastic plates please if the venue owner is worried about kids breaking them.

James was the best. He was very attentive and cleaned our tables with a smile. Definitely a gem and one who should be promoted! We will be back because of his service.

Shocking experience. We held a birthday party here and they kicked out the main guest for no reason, the supervisor was not even willing to explain their decision after our group had spent well over thousands here on drinks and food and falsely accused the main guest of being on drugs. Will not be coming back and extremely disappointed to see such poor customer service at a Merivale venue.

Open and airy with a beach feel. Nice views of the water depending on where you’re seated. Casual dining with a solid menu, the snapper ceviche is really good, light and perfect if you don’t want a big meal. The octopus and salt and pepper squid on the starter menu are also good. The upstairs terrace area is a great option for drinks with views of the beach. Great for family, work and friends gathering as they cater to large groups. Staff are friendly. COVID check in rules adhered to however some staff were not wearing their masks correctly which is a bit of a turn off. Management needs to make sure when masks are mandatory they are correctly worn.
