Is Coogee Pavillion OK for kids (6 & 9) on NYE - say around 6.00pm. Do we need to book?

You need to book , this area is very busy on Nye , plus be care ful as a lot of people do a lot of drinking on thid s day . So if going with childen please be very careful for your kids . Enjoy if going there.

Are pets allowed anywhere, e.g. on the terrace?

The pets can be left outside, its provided a pot with water for them.

What is in the happy hour ? What time is it?

Yes, there is a vast ticket parking ground available and free street parking is also searched in front or rear side, for rear you have to go to beach street.

I called ahead to see if I need to make a booking to go there for my birthday for a few drinks & they said I do if it's a group of 20+ people.They then said it's a fee of $2000 because the bar is normally closed? Why would the bar be closed on Sat?

Maybe they dedicate a whole bar to you if you've got 20+ people there, so they need minimum spending amount. But I've had similar experiences there, they generally act a bit arrogant and are a bit like "we're already super busy, so we basically don't need to give good customer service!"

Why has it taken over 4 hours to get sharp exposed screws in the woman's toilets covered to prevent further harm to others?
