Citizen Cafe Murrumbeena

Our new local, beautiful food, service always excellent and friendly and my 2 different Chai's i opt to have are the best and the gluten free sausage rolls are the best! Well done guys keep up the great work. The Pantry is the same owner, moist muffins, yummy croissants and their olive and rosemary bread so good. If you haven't been, this plant is a must! 10/10

DO: The eggs Benny and mushroom/chorizo on toast. DON'T: Leave without any of the small batch baked goods. The almond croissant was the bee's knees. TIP: Say hi to Jansen, Aaron and Zane when you're there. Expect great service with a smile.

Food and decor was wonderful but despite asking for a strong coffee, it was extremely weak. Was like a big mug of hot milk. Service was quite slow as well. Keen to give them another chance on a less busy day, but still a bit disappointed. I've seen extremely busy cafes still dish out great coffees with good service time.

Hidden gem in the area. We were in the area looking for a coffee. Suddenly we saw this little place went there. Coffees were really good. Everyone in the cafe, knew what they were doing.

Casual little cafe with friendly service and tasty menu. I went for the banana pancakes which came with fruit, mascarpone, tahini and maple syrup. The pancakes were crispy and not too sweet. Nice portion size too.

Their selection of freshly baked goodies are highly recommended. U have to try everything to belief the yummy tastes.. My favourite are the gluten free brownie, raspberry & white chocolate muffins and vegetables muffins. There are also some delicious wraps to choose.

Fantastic coffee. Awesome home made food and fantastic service.

Nice smooth coffee. Love the homely touch with blankets for people using outdoor seating.
