Cicerello's Fremantle

This place gave me diarrhea so hard that I had to Google how to spell it in order to warn you fine people of the internet. The fish tanks are cool but don't risk it if you plan on being more than 50 seconds away from a familiar toilet.

Was nice to grab some fish n chips and a bottle of beer. Reasonable price and hot food of a good quality. We could get our food almost right away after making an order. Fairly fast service. Might be a bit dirty and crowded though during the peak time.

Always a pleasure to visit and dine at the restaurant. The service is always quick, the place clean. Drinks can be a bit expensive, expect to pay almost $4 for a can of coke. But the food is reasonable priced. Get the outside seating at the back and sometimes you may be able to buy the elusive $20 lobsters from the fishermen selling from their boat.

As a child I used to look forward to going to Fremantle for fish and chips at Cicerellos and eating them at the Esplanade. It was a family outing I always have fond memories of. Well not much has changed over the years. The quality of fish and chips has remained just as high. Always tasty and fresh. The establishment has evolved over the years to become even better than it was. Overall I would describe it as a winner and well worth the visit if you are a connosuer of fine seafood.

Fish & chip go to place. Both the quality and the quantity of the fish & chip is good. Ideal to share for two if you are just having a snack.

Very tasty food however it took quite a while and the place is a bit run down. Service is friendly though and still has that old school charm.

Awful seafood (tastes mushy and like it was bought from woolies) dreadful prices, Okay chips. Would not recommend to my worst enemy to be honest. Only nice thing about the place are the fish tanks.

We had the platter for 2, which in reality is perfect for at least 3 people! The fish and chips were really good, mussels and squid also very delicious. The prawns were cold and the other fish too salty. For the oysters we would have wished to have more seasoning available (eg lemon) the waiting time was good, although the place was really busy!

Apparently the best fish & chips in Perth... it's okay. Don't like the supermarket "ambience". Guess it caters to tourists in normal times.

Pretty lousy tasting seafood chowder deluxe. Would not recommend
